Family Week: Visit us during half term

What are your plans for the half term holidays? From 13-17 February, families will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the MINI Plant Oxford! Come and experience the most exciting elements of car production together.

Tours of the MINI plant Oxford are not normally open to children under the age of 14. During family days however, you can not only visit the plant alongside your kids, children aged 11 – 14 are admitted free of charge.  

And there is plenty to discover on your way through the plant: In the MINI museum you’ll be able to retrace the development of the cult car, from bullnose to modern models. In the body shop,  you will experience how up to 435 different steel and synthetic parts are connected with the help of 1,200 robots to form a body-in-white. You’ll visit the assembly halls where around 1,000 MINIs come together every day. And we’ll take a fascinating glimpse into the future of electric cars and motors: What does the future of mobility look like?
